SpaceX launches 19 more Starlink satellites

SpaceX successfully launched 19 new Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit, further expanding the world’s largest satellite internet constellation.

The launch took place from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, with a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the satellites into orbit approximately 63 minutes after liftoff. SpaceX confirmed in a statement that the first stage of the rocket executed a smooth landing just eight minutes later on a drone ship stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

This latest mission boosts the Starlink network, which now consists of more than 8,000 satellites orbiting the Earth. Designed to deliver high-speed internet access even in remote and underserved regions, the Starlink service operates through a network of low-orbiting satellites and ground-based receivers.
