NEW DELHI : Cheteshwar Pujara, one of India’s most reliable Test batsmen and a symbol of discipline and perseverance, has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

For over a decade, Pujara was the backbone of India’s batting order, amassing more than 7,000 Test runs and playing defining innings in historic victories, including the memorable series wins in Australia. Often compared to Rahul Dravid, he earned the title of India’s modern-day “Wall” — a role that demanded patience, grit, and the ability to withstand pressure.
