India on track to become $10 trillion economy, third largest globally, says PM Modi

Calling India the fastest-growing economy, PM Narendra Modi told the World Leadership Forum that reforms, innovation, and partnerships will drive the country “Towards a $10 Trillion Economy.”

NEW DELHI - At the Special Session of the World Leadership Forum 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi set out his vision of propelling India “Towards a $10 Trillion Economy.”

Underscoring the importance of reforms, innovation, and international collaboration, he projected India as a rising hub for technology, advanced manufacturing, and green energy. The Prime Minister highlighted digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive growth as the driving forces of India’s economic journey, reaffirming the nation’s ambition to establish itself as a global economic powerhouse.

“Today, India is the fastest growing major economy in the world. Soon, we will become the third largest economy of the world,” Modi said, stressing confidence in India’s growth trajectory.
