Ras Al Khaimah Tourism names Phillipa Harrison as CEO

RAS AL KHAIMAH : The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) has named Phillipa Harrison as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership move as the emirate accelerates its ambition to become a leading global tourism destination.

Harrison, who previously served as Managing Director of Tourism Australia, brings extensive international expertise to the role. Over the course of her career, she has held senior positions across the UK and Australia, shaping strategies to drive tourism growth and leading recovery efforts for the sector in challenging times.

In her new capacity, Harrison will be responsible for steering Ras Al Khaimah’s tourism strategy, enhancing the emirate’s global profile, and strengthening its position as one of the fastest-growing destinations in the region.
